Description
The Glow Wand is a light-up wand for kids who are drawn to lights, colour and anything that spins. It's about 20 cm long, with a clear ball on the end. Press the button and coloured lights whirl round inside the ball. It's made with autistic and ADHD kids in mind.
Take it out with you, so when the shop gets too loud or the wait drags on, they've got something bright to hold and focus on. At home, switch the big light off and make it part of winding down before bed. There's no screen and nothing to scroll.
Features
- Spins with colour: press the button and coloured lights whirl round inside the clear ball.
- They're in control: one button, so they can switch the light on and off themselves.
- Easy for small hands: a handle to grip, and about 20 cm long, so it comes with you to the shops, the GP or the car.
- No screen: just light, colour and their hand.
- Goes with the rest of Glow Trail: use it at the end of the stones trail, or alongside the Glow Pad with the big light off.
Suitable For
- Autistic, ADHD and sensory-seeking kids who love lights, colour and spinning things
- Kids who stim with light or love watching things go round
- Kids who find loud, busy places hard: shops, queues, waiting rooms, family get-togethers
- Wind-down at home with the big light off
- Brothers and sisters (get one each)

Bright, moving light they can hold.
Kids who love light will find it somewhere, and on a hard day out that's often your phone. No judgement: sometimes the phone is what gets everyone through. But UK guidance for 2–5s is no more than 1 hour of screens a day. Here's how the wand compares with what you'd usually reach for.
2 hrs+
a day on screens for the average 2-year-old in England: double the 1-hour guideline.
36%
of 2–5-year-olds worldwide stay within the 1-hour screen guideline. You're far from the only one.

A fun extra for home and days out. It doesn't replace professional support.

Some kids are drawn to every light in the room. So we made one they can hold.
We started Glow Trail with light-up stepping stones for kids who need to move, then the Glow Pad for hands that need to touch. The Glow Wand is for the kids whose eyes go looking for light: something bright to hold at home, in the car or at the GP. It's the same idea as everything we make: hands-on play for autistic and ADHD kids, with no screen.

Questions
What's in the box?
- 1 Glow Wand: one wand.
- 2 Glow Wands: two wands, one each.
Batteries not included (3 × AA per wand), as they hold up customs.
How much is delivery, and how fast?
Tracked UK delivery takes 2–5 working days. It's £5.49, or free when your order comes to over £72, so it's free if you add a wand to a stones set or Glow Pad. The estimated delivery date is shown above the button when you order.
Is the light flashing? My child is sensitive to light.
The light moves: rings of bright coloured LEDs spin round inside the clear ball and change colour as they go. It looks most magical with the big light off, so if bright or moving light bothers your child, try it in a well-lit room first and see how they get on.
If your child has photosensitive epilepsy or is sensitive to flashing or changing light, check with their GP before use, and always supervise play.
What batteries does it take?
Each wand takes 3 × AA batteries, fitted in the base. We don't include them, because shipping batteries causes customs hold-ups and we'd rather get it to you without delays. Please fit them yourself.
My child is always chasing lights. Is this for them?
It's made for kids like yours: the ones who can spot a ceiling fan from across the room, go hunting for the light switches, and head straight for anything that glows or spins. The Glow Wand gives them a light of their own to hold and watch. You know your child best, so if it isn't right, you've got 30 nights to send it back.
Will it help when they're having a hard time?
We can't promise that, and every child is different. What it gives you is something bright to hold and watch when a place is loud or busy, or the wait goes on too long. At home, you can make it part of winding down for bed with the big light off.
Can I add one to a stones set or Glow Pad?
Yes. When you buy a Glow Trail stones set or a Glow Pad, tick "Add a Glow Wand" under the options or tap it in your basket, and the wand is £14.99 instead of £24.95 (one per order).
What if they don't take to it?
Try it for 30 nights from the day it arrives. Not right for your child? Tell us and we'll arrange a return for a full refund. You pay return postage unless it's faulty or we sent the wrong item. Trial terms
How do we use it safely?

- Stop using it if the ball or handle ever cracks.
